CODE OF CONDUCT

Professionalism and Respect

• Maintain professionalism in all interactions. Treat colleagues, students, and moderators with courtesy, patience, and respect.

• Debate ideas, not individuals. Constructive dialogue is encouraged; personal attacks, harassment, or derogatory remarks are not tolerated.

• Respect differences in background, specialty, experience, and clinical perspective.

Confidentiality

• Do not share patient-identifiable, protected health, or proprietary employer-specific information in any community space.

• Case discussions must always be fully de-identified.

• Protect peer privacy, never disclose personal information about another participant without consent.

Privacy and Respect for Colleagues

• You may not copy, screenshot, record, or otherwise reproduce discussions, comments, images, or other content shared by participants within Ignite NP courses, forums, or live events for use outside the platform.

• Sharing another participant’s words, image, or identifiable details without their explicit consent, particularly in a manner that could harm, misrepresent, or defame the participant is strictly prohibited.

• Respect the professional and collegial nature of this community by keeping all discussions and shared materials within the intended learning environment.

Integrity and Accuracy

• Share information, resources, or clinical perspectives truthfully and cite reputable sources when possible.

• Identify opinion versus evidence.

• Do not misrepresent credentials, affiliations, or professional roles.

Appropriate Use of the Platform

• The community and course portals are educational, not promotional, spaces.

• Unapproved marketing, solicitation, affiliate linking, or product promotion is prohibited.

• Upload only content that you have rights to share (no copyrighted or proprietary materials without permission).

• Use respectful, professional language; obscene or discriminatory material is forbidden.

AI-Assisted and Digital Content

• When using AI tools to contribute to discussions or create materials, ensure accuracy, transparency, and proper review before posting.

• Do not upload or share any sensitive data with AI systems integrated into Ignite NP resources.

Security and Account Responsibility

• Keep login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

• Report any technical or security concerns promptly to Ignite NP support.

Consequences for Violations

• Ignite NP LLC reserves the right to remove posts, limit participation, or suspend or terminate user accounts that violate this Code of Conduct or the Terms of Service.

• Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal from all Ignite NP platforms without refund.
